Alphabet spent $51.4 billion on buildings and equipment in Q3 2026, up 114% in a year.

Alphabet spent $51.4 billion on buildings, servers and equipment in Q3 2026. A year earlier, in Q3 2025, it spent $24.0 billion. This is capital spending: the cash paid for property and equipment. The quarter comes from Alphabet's earnings release, filed with the SEC on Oct 28, 2026. We use it only because the release's figure for a year earlier matches Alphabet's SEC filing to the million. The quarterly report (10-Q) comes later.
